We have seen two exciting matches tonight fighting for the crown of the ROLadder.net OpeningCup. In the grandfinal the russian team of double Penetration showed again that they're without a doubt the best european RedOrchestra2 clan at the moment. The russians clearly dominated on Barracks and GrainElevator so we saw a well deserved victory.

In the third place match, we saw a struggle between teams 1stCav and enclave, but in the end a decisive victory by enclave. 1stCav successfully took a point from team enclave on their home map, RedOctoberFactory, while 1stCav lost both rounds on Station to enclave.

Now its on - the RedOrchestra2 ROLadder.net OpeningCup is almost over, every match has been played, except the grandfinal and the 3rd place match.

We know that there have been another 21 teams eliminated, but now it's about the grandfinal between dP and pT and the 3rd place match between 1stCav and enclave. Both matches will be played tomorrow, starting with the final at 20:00 CET and the 3rd place match just one hour later. Without a doubt, the grandfinal will be broadcasted by Fields of Blue again so stay tuned for some thrilling fire fights. If this match will be finished right in time, we will do our best to shoutcast the 3rd place match as well.

As you all noticed there was a small delay after our semi final matches but now we finally reached the final matches of our OpeningCup. The winner of the grandfinal will be decided between doublePenetration and Project Twilight. Furthermore the all polish 3rd place match enclave vs 1stCav promises some nice fights as well.

Due to the delay the timeframe will be from 16th to 22nd of February.
